What Are The Key Dates To Look For In This “Generation To See All Things”?

In a couple earlier blog posts, I made the case that the Bible accurately pinpoints which generation in human history is the generation identified in scripture which will witness all of the signs of the end of the age, just prior to the return of Yahshua Anointed to earth.  These events are cited in detail in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21.  The Bible makes it abundantly clear that the years that we are currently living in is, in fact, THAT generation spoke of by those authors.  To see the details of how we can know with certainty that we are now in that generation, you may read those previous posts here and here.

From those prior posts, I’ve made the case that the 6,000 years of human existence was completed in September, 1998.  Those who are familiar with prophecy know that the Bible cites that mankind will be allowed to rule himself for 6,000 years, then afterward our Messiah, Yahshua Anointed will return to sit on his throne and rule the world for the next 1,000 years.  So, if the 6,000 years have finished, why isn’t Yahshua already here?

It is because this particular generation is not considered part of the 6,000 years of man’s rule.  It is an additional period of time–the only generation that will be shortened–which makes it different from any other generation.  Ours is like a “buffer” generation which sets the stage for Yahshua’s return and unlike a normal Biblical generation of 40 years, our will be shortened to just 33 1/2 years.  Why is that number significant?  It is shortened during the Tribulation to avoid all mankind from dying at the hands of the anti-messiah:

Matt. 24:22–“And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”  …so we have that going for us…which is nice.

33 1/2 years is the length of time that Yahshua was on earth, in human form, and he too did not live for a “full generation”.  He life was also shortened.  So, are there any parallels in scripture that help us identify significant moments of this generation?

Yes, and we need look no further than the New Testament of the Bible for the answer.  But, to understand the pattern and WHY the New Testament is significant, we must first rearrange our modern Bibles back into their original manuscript order as they were kept in the Temple in Jerusalem.  At that time, their arrangement differed from what we see today.

The first 5 books were/are correct:  Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts.

The next 7 books (or, scrolls, at that time) were different.  They were: James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John and Jude.

Next came the books which Paul wrote: Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philipians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, Hebrews, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon.

Finally, the last book of the Bible, correctly located in the right position, is Revelation.  This special book, given to us to unlock hidden secrets just prior to Yahshua’s return, is filled with symbolism and all throughout that book we find the number 7 in describing end-time prophecies: 7 churches, 7 spirits, 7 golden candlesticks, 7 stars, etc.  In fact, there are so many references to the number 7, that you could equate the entirety of the book of Revelation to be “the book of Sevens”.  You’ll understand the significance of this in a moment.

When you add up all of the books of the New Testament, you have:

5 books that describe the life of Yahshua.

7 books that were written by the pillar Apostles and specifically written to the Jews.

14 books, all written by the Apostle Paul to the various Gentile nations.

One book of “7’s”:  5 + 7 + 14 + “7” = 33.

These four sections of the New Testament run parallel to various years in THIS latter-day generation and can be measured from the moment that the 6,000 of man’s rule on earth ended in 1998.  Specifically, it ended in September 1998.

The first section of the New Testament, or the first 5 years, beginning in Sept., 1998 are actually slightly longer than just 5 years.  Yahshua was born in the fall, but he began his ministry in the spring.  So, the first 5 books of the NT equate to 5 1/2 years today.  Thus, the beginning of this final generation in Sept., 1998 ended 5 1/2 years later, in April, 2004.  Like the 1st century A.D., these 5 1/2 years laid the foundation of the years to follow.  What was Yahshua’s message?  And, who was it primarily addressed to?  He brought the message of man’s salvation, and in the beginning, his message was delivered to the Jews first.  Thus, beginning in April, 2004, the next 7 years are patterned after the “Jews first” parallel.

The next 7 books, from James to Jude, written to the Jews, were written by the pillar Apostles James, Peter and John.  The last of these 7 books was written by Jude, who–like James–were 1/2 brothers of Yahshua.  The author of Jude was not the same Apostle Judas who betrayed him.  The introduction of James, in verse 1, says it was written “to the twelve tribes”, a clear reference to the Jews.  The first book of Peter, in verse 2, says it’s written “to the elect”.  Again, Yahweh’s chosen people [his “elect”] are the Jews.  Peter’s 2nd book tells us in verse 1, it’s written to “them that have obtained” [righteousness].  Again, a clear reference to gift of salvation, given to the Jews first prior to being introduced to the Gentiles.  John 3 short books are clearly address solely to who already have attained fellowship with the Father.  This fellowship would eventually be also given to the Gentiles, but at the time of John’s writing, this had not occurred, as Paul had not yet been given his commission.  Finally, Jude wrote “to them that ARE sanctified”, not to those who will later become sanctified.

Accordingly, the years between April 2004 and April 2011 are most important to the JEWS FIRST.  After the foundation years which began “this generation”, the world’s attention needed to be redirected to the Jews, or to Israel.  You may recall a fairly significant event that happened in lower Manhattan in 2001 which set the wheels in motion to direct the word’s center stage to the opposite side of the ocean and into the Middle East.  From that point forward, we have been on a non-stop effort to prevent another such attack to our nation.  And which nation is the most despised nation in the Mideast and is blamed for all of the world’s troubles?  Israel.

But those 7 years, redirecting the world’s focus on Israel and her neighbors, ended in April, 2011.  A new Biblical focus began from that point and is still underway today.  The 14 books of the New Testament which follow Jude are the 14 books written by the Apostle Paul.  HIS was the first commission to go beyond the Jews and bring Yahshua’s message to the rest of the Gentile nations.  In today’s parallel, it means nations like Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and more.  Almost from the very beginning, the U.S. and many of her allies have been in a constant struggle to thwart the evil ambition of Al Qaida, the Taliban, ISIS and other terrorist organizations.  Each of them have their origins in the Middle East, and there has never been a time in world history when there has been such a concentrated effort to destroy such a tiny nation such as Israel.

Both the 7 year period of time, beginning in 2004 and the following 14 year period, beginning in 2011, are a continuous transition of steering the world’s attention away from the west–especially the U.S.–and elevating attention toward the Middle East.  We are almost in the middle of the 14 year period of transition and over the remaining 7 years, the Middle East in general and Israel in particular will take on a significant amount of power and prosperity.  In just 3 months from now, we will begin to see Iran discontinue her hostilities toward Israel and when this happens, the rest of the Mideast nations will follow Iran’s lead.  If you think we’re watching the Middle East closely NOW, just IMAGINE how lazer-focused the world will become when Iran and Israel become friends!

Which brings us the last 7 years and the book of Revelation with its “7” symbolism”.  The 14 year transition period will end in April, 2025 and when it does, we will begin the time when virtually all Biblical prophesies that are yet to be fulfilled will ALL happen in rapid-fire fashion.  Here is how John wrote about this moment:

Rev. 1:1–“The Revelation of Yahshua Anointed, which Yahweh gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”

In this verse, most people misunderstand John’s expression “shortly come to pass” as “it will happen pretty soon” or “it won’t be long now”.  But that is not AT ALL what John wrote.  The Hebrew text makes John’s words clearer:

Heb.: “ha dei genesthai en tachei”.  Literally meaning: “…which must be occurring in swiftness…”  John did not write that these event would “happen soon”.  He wrote that WHEN they happen, they will all happen in rapid-fire, back-to-back fashion.  THIS is why nearly 90% of all unfulfilled prophecies still remain and are found in the book of Revelation.

The 14 year period of time will be over in April, 2025, introducing us to the final chapter of the last 7 years prior to Yahshua’s arrival.  It is during THESE 7 years, that an imposter will seize control and begin to rule the world while pretending to be the 2nd coming of our Messiah.

5 1/2 years, 7 years, 14 years, “7” years = 33 1/2 years.  Follow this pattern and you’ll see the changes happening right before your eyes.

It’s going to get ugly, but knowing what’s going to happen in advance is a comforting feeling.

John 16:33–“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
