We Are Living In The End Times, And I Can Prove It (Part 1)

REPENT BECAUSE THE END IS NEAR!  How many times throughout history has this false warning been heard?  I dare say, it’s probably been occurring since the time of the Apostles because most of them believed that Yahshua would return in their own lifetimes.  This is spoken about in Acts 1:6–“…they asked of him, saying, Master, wilt thou AT THIS TIME restore again the kingdom to Israel?”  This question was asked after he had already risen from the dead, and for over 40 days had been teaching them of his future kingdom.  If they didn’t think it was probable that he would introduce his kingdom right at that time, they would not have asked such a question.  To their dismay, they discovered that his 2nd return was not imminent.

I have seen photos that are so old, color photography had not been invented yet, of a man wearing a “sandwich sign” over his shoulders, with a similar “REPENT!” warning printed on the front and back.  Unfortunately, the 1800’s came and went and, alas, no millennial kingdom.

Throughout the 20th century, and much of my lifetime, there have been ministers, “prophets”, evangelists and other ordinary citizens who were convinced that their understanding of scripture was so rock-solid that they “KNEW” they were right and they were not ashamed to put their reputations on the line as a specific key date, or THE date was announced of this historic moment in time.

Of course, you know what happened.  That date has come and gone.  We’ll still here and there was no “eureka!” moment of Yahshua’s return.  And yet, people to this day  continue to yearn for this knowledge and whenever a smooth talking and convincing speaker shows up on the scene, you can be sure that 100’s, 1,000’s or 100’s of thousands of people will gravitate toward him and they’ll become equally convinced that THIS time, they finally are absolutely certain, without a doubt, that THIS person is right!  A common denominator in the vast majority of these voices of warning is that people who believe them will support them with money.

The cynic in me suspects that a large percentage of these “false prophets” knew all along that what they were doing was a fraud as they preyed upon naive and wishful believers.  But, the money continued to pour in so the hype kept building until that fateful day and….  They quickly dug back into their Bibles and announced with even MORE enthusiasm that a NEW TRUTH had suddenly been revealed to them and if only he had this truth earlier, he would have UNDERSTOOD that the original date was wrong.  But, now that it HAS, he needs to DOUBLE HIS EFFORTS to spread this wonderful news to the world…and won’t you help me with a little donation?….

Yada, yada, yada…so the drum beat goes on.  Eventually, after enough people have cried “wolf”, the listeners’ ears have grown deaf.  This very phenomena was described, almost word-for-word, by the prophet Ezekiel, to be the human condition on earth just prior to the 2nd coming.

Eze. 12:22–“Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?

In other words, the days have NOT come to an end, and everything that you’ve predicted to happen DIDN’T happen.  What is Yahweh’s response?

Eze. 12:23-25–“Tell them therefore, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.  24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.  25 For I am Yahweh: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith Yahweh Elohim.”

Obviously, something that is in the Bible must happen that will allow for the truth to be known.  Otherwise, the next announcement merely becomes the next guess.  Again.  And the change that must occur in order for that specific time in history to become  known is actually identified in the book of Daniel.

The prophet Daniel was given very detailed information about the “end of years” (Dan. 11:6) in which the angel Gabriel described the latter days and what certain kingdoms would look like, what they would do and how the anti-messiah will begin his false rule on earth, posing as our returned Messiah.  For centuries, people have read these prophesies and have attempted to draw the correct conclusions, but to no avail. Why not?  Even Daniel himself, upon the completion of writing down this confounding prophecy, had no idea what it actually meant.

Dan. 12:8–“And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Adonai, what shall be the end of these things?”  Daniel didn’t get the answer he wanted.

Dan. 12:9–“And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Okay, got it.  The reason that Daniel was unable to understand the prophecy that he had just written was because its meaning was “sealed” until the time of the end.  This also means that every other seeker of the truth would likewise be unable to understand end-time prophecies, no matter how hard they tried, until these words became “unsealed”.  Once that happens, the meaning of Daniel’s prophecy as well as many other prophecies in scripture will become understood.  Until that moment, it’s impossible.  Now that we know “when” his words will be “unsealed”, the next question is obviously “can that date also be identified in the Bible?”  The good news is, yes it can.  And yes it did.

The exact moment that the key to unlock the book of Daniel can be identified right down to the exact date and time.  Zechariah tells us, point-blank, when the “latter days” begins.  The book of Zechariah, like the book of Daniel, is entirely prophecy that is only for the generation that will be alive on earth shortly before Yahshua’s return.  Here is where Zechariah gives us the specific date:

Zech. 1:12–“Then the angel of Yahweh answered and said, Yahweh of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?”  Do you see it?  The specific date?

This prophecy is directed at the NATION of Israel.  The angel asks when the 70 years of “indignation” will finally come to an end.  It was asked of Jerusalem, Judah and Zion–all descriptions of Israel itself.  Keep in mind that the book of Zechariah is for NO other generation that has ever lived OTHER than the generation that will immediately precede the 2nd coming.  So, in order for Yahweh to “have indignation” on the NATION of Israel for 70 years…they would have had to have become an actual nation once again, not just a migratory people without a country.  This occurred on May 14, 1948.  THAT is the day that the modern nation of Israel declared their independence and became a nation once again.

There can be no doubt that Israel has suffered indignation galore ever since they set foot on their ancestral homeland 69+ years ago.  The most exciting part is–in less than a year, the time of indignation will finally come to an end.  At that time, we’ll see more and more prophecies coming true, just as scripture has foretold.

Any person, no matter how sincere, who tried to pinpoint these prophetic timetables by using facts and data they had discovered PRIOR to the nation of Israel’s declaration of independence on May 14, 1948, they’re using facts and data that had still been “sealed”.  They need to go back to the drawing board with an open mind and consider the fact that their earlier conclusions could not possibly be right.  If Daniel could not know his own prophecy while it was sealed, what makes any other human believe that they could while those same words were still sealed?

We now know, with absolute certainty, that the book of Zechariah is for our time, and no other time in history.  Since it’s purpose was to provide insight to the latter day generation to see all the prophecies described in Matt. 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 come to pass.

Luke 21:32–“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.  Not some, but all.

We also know, with equal certainty, that the book of Daniel has NOW become unsealed, since we know that the “time of the end” has begun, with the revelation of Zechariah’s prophecy.

Each of these books provides the equivalent of a notary seal on identifying the End Times.  This is why I created this blog.  And this is why I hope it gets shared and discovered by those same 100’s, then 1,000’s then 100’s of thousands of people who can finally stop being mislead.
