I recently learned that over 130,000,000 Americans take some sort of mind-altering medicine each day to cope with living their lives. With a population of nearly 330,000,000, that’s 2 out of every 5 people who take some sort of drugs, either legally or illegally. 132 MILLION people, dependent upon a chemical substance, just to live their lives? Have we become that weak and victimized to the point where self-reliance and can-do attitudes that were once the bedrock of American society no longer exists?
You don’t have to be an octogenarian to view the changing culture–a radical change for the worse–to know that we are on a course for self-destruction. Virtually every aspect of our society is under attack; the protests in Missouri this week are just the most recent example. Students at institutions of “higher” learning (I mean “higher” in its drugged up sense) are demanding: 1) Free college, 2) Forgiven student loans and 3) $15/hour minimum wage. When asked how that will be paid for, the deer-in-the-headlights look demonstrates that this utopian dream is just that–an unrealistic idea that has been indoctrinated into impressionable young minds, all in the name of “fairness”.
And it’s not just colleges and universities that have jumped the shark. The President of the United States is systematically and deliberately diminishing the power, stature, influence and financial strength of our country and 100% of the Democratic party fully supports him in doing so. Has a major political party also lost its collective mind? According to the statistics, the answer is yes–40% of them have. Although, since it’s the Democrats we’re talking about, I’m sure we can skew that number upward.
Police are the problem. Conservatives are the problem. Liberty-minded people are the problem. Gun owners are the problem. Christians are the problem. Heterosexual two-parent families are the problem. Defenders of the Constitution and Bill of Rights are the problem. Everything that was universally considered normal is now the problem. If you do not accept the radical changes that are assaulting our culture and traditions daily, then YOU must be forced to accept, adopt and embrace these changes or, as happened in MO., you must resign and cave in to the maladjusted crazies.
Whatever became of critical thinking and logic? Have we lost that ability? Does it have something to do with the amount of drugs that are now prevalent in society? To a degree, the answers are yes, yes and yes. But there’s more to the drug issue than meets the eye. This condition of huge percentages of the population being under the influence of drugs was actually prophesied to exist at this time. It was described by the Apostle John in the book of Revelation.
He wrote, in ch. 18:23 the following–“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” The key word in this verse is “sorceries”. What was John saying? This is easy to discover when you read this verse is the original Greek translation.
Revelation is a particular book of the Bible that describes in great detail the end of the age (not the “end of the world”, as is often improperly rendered) prior to the return of the Messiah. The entirety of ch. 18 describes the condition of all the nations of the earth and how they’ve become perverted, their sins finally resulting in awful punishment. The word “sorceries” comes from the Greek word μάγια, or “pharmakeia”, from where we get today’s word “pharmacy” or “pharmaceutical”, meaning “drugging” or “enchantment”.
Isn’t it interesting that the Apostle John wrote, over 2,000 years ago, an exact description of how drugs would become a dominant force, impacting human lives in the latter days? Yet, for centuries, people glossed over this verse, unaware of the real impact of what “sorceries” really means.
Yep, our population is Doped and it’s only going to get worse over the next 17 years.
